In a world filled with misconceptions, I had the privilege of hiring a remarkable individual named Evan Starnes. Despite his blindness, I saw immense potential in him and believed that with supportive and empowering leadership, he could achieve greatness. As a senior program manager, I provided Evan with the necessary resources and a nurturing environment to excel in audio production. His passion and talent shone through, and it wasn’t long before he proved himself on an international stage, winning two prestigious awards. Evan’s story serves as a powerful reminder that with the right support and belief in one’s abilities, remarkable achievements can transcend any barriers society imposes. He continues to inspire, challenging misconceptions and paving the way for a more inclusive world.

I spearheaded the marketing campaign for the Bringing Print to Life Hike, an initiative that allowed individuals who are blind to experience the beauty of nature with sighted guides. This hike served as a symbol of inclusivity, challenging societal norms and demonstrating the power of accessibility in creating memorable and transformative experiences.
